The GE150 Max Series builds upon the updated GE series design language. It retains the large control knob and quick-press buttons, while adding 8 multi-purpose footswitches for browsing presets and activating a variety of functions. These 8 footswitches offer guitarists more convenient preset control in a live environment. The new CTRL mode allows footswitch mapping to individual modules within each preset for finer control. The GE150 Max Li version provides up to 9 hours of operation from its integrated Lithium battery. The Li version features a black finish, while the standard GE150 Max comes in a neutral white.

A 3.5 -inch LCD color display offers real-time visual feedback on the effect chain and each module's parameters. It provides 200 preset slots across 50 banks of 4 presets. A wide range of delay, reverb, and modulation effect models can be applied to these slots. It contains 55 classic amp preamps based on proprietary MNRS modelling technology for authentic emulations of classic amplifier tones, plus 26 high-quality cabinet simulations with support for loading third-party IRs. Both the AMP and cabinet modules feature 20 slots for loading MNRS sample files. For live stage use, the GE150 Max Li includes stereo balanced XLR outputs, making it well-suited for long-distance audio routing without signal loss.

Combining these audio routing options with the unit's enhanced functionality delivers a professional-grade live performance solution in a lightweight, compact package. The GE150 Max Li incorporates an integrated expression pedal that can be mapped to tone, effect parameters, and output volume for improved live expression control. It is also enhanced by the new "SPILL-OVER" function, which ensures delay and reverb effect tails fade out naturally when switching presets for smoother, more natural transitions in a live setting. It offers 80 seconds of looping time for creative improvisations and loop-based compositions, along with a 40-style drum machine complete with 10 metronomes.

The "Tap" footswitch can be used to accurately determine the BPM of these features in real-time
