This sliding door handle set is constructed of diecast and it comes finished in a white powder-coated finish. Its compatible with many mortise style locks and it is non-handed allowing it to install on both left and right-handed doors. The handle is surface mounted and it has a 4-15/16 inch hole center spacing. This patio door handle set includes a thumb lever with a safety lock feature. It mounts on the surface of the sliding door framework and it is used by many patio door manufacturers. Hand tighten the mounting screws only. Other items to consider purchasing are the Prime-Line parts E 2000 and E 2563. Mortise lock, keyed cylinder and keeper are sold separately
