How To Measure: Measure the height of filing cabinet to confirm the size needed. The bar needs to be slightly shorter than the filing cabinet. If it covers any portion of the top and bottom drawers, it will work.
How To Install: It is easy to install on any standard filing cabinet. The 4/5 Drawer File Locking Bar mounts to the 1/2-inch frame on the left or right side of the drawers. One (1) cobalt drill bit and keyed padlock are included. How To Use Our File Locking Bar: Using the file bar is simple. The hinge is spring loaded. Once unlocked, the bar swings open and stays out of the way, making accessing files easy. Our file locking bars will not interfere with opening or closing of the drawers. It also does not obstruct the function of any adjoining file cabinets. To secure the file cabinet, simply close the cover on the file locking bar, lower the handle, and insert the padlock at the top.
