NOTE (Pinless Measurement): a. Keep metal objects (nails, screws, pipes) at least 2 inches away from the sensor to avoid false high readings. b. Hold the device by its narrow base to prevent hand moisture from interfering. c. Do not measure standing water, as the tool detects material dielectric constant, not direct water content. d. Be aware that moisture or metal below the surface (up to 0.75 inches deep) can affect readings. e. For best accuracy, ensure material thickness is between 2040mm; if thinner than 19mm, elevate or stack the material. f. Note that conductive substances in materials may indicate higher moisture levels
