DIP CODE PARING - The remote control is very easy to pair with the receiver. You just need to have the remote control and the receiver with the same DIP code position, the pairing is completed. The default code is 0000 which is not recommended. And If your fan is turned on/off suddenly it is possible that your neighborhood's remote activates this ceiling fan in your other rooms. Please change the DIP code.

EASY INSTALLATION - No need to take off the light kit and blades, but
only 5 wires hookup: 2 wires for power input to the receiver, and 3 wires into the fan control the fan and light. Please check the size of the receiver to make sure that there is enough space for your fan canopy to cover it. The remote control uses a 9V battery for power supply, which is NOT INCLUDED.
