What does CM-208Z measure?
It measures thickness of non-magnetic coatings such as paint, powder coating and protective layers applied on metal substrates.
Can it measure on plastic or composite materials?
No. The gauge works only on metal substrates (Fe and NFe). It does not measure coatings on plastic, wood or non-metal bases.
What is the maximum thickness it can measure?
The measuring range is 03000µm (0120 mils), suitable for heavy industrial and marine coating systems.
Does it automatically detect metal type?
Yes. The device automatically identifies ferrous and non-ferrous metals without manual switching.
Can measurement data be exported?
Yes. The CM-208Z supports USB data transfer and includes PC software for documentation and reporting.
