2 Connection Ways for Wide Compatibility & 6.5FT CableOur emergency electronic parking brake release and reset tool is equipped with an EPB interface and two pairs of terminal connectors. 2 connection ways are widely compatible with most gasoline, hybrid, and electric vehicles. Overcurrent/Overvoltage/Short-Circuit ProtectionThe EPB brake release and reset tool is equipped a built-in 5A fast-blow fuse. In the event of overcurrent, overvoltage or short circuit, the fuse will immediately blow and cut off the circuit, effectively protecting the EPB release tool, motor, and brake cylinder from damage. ( 2 spare fuses are included in the package for replacement. )
Overload/Reverse Polarity Protection & Self-TestWhen applying or releasing the EFB, the voltage output will only last for 1 second and automatically stop, even if the brake or release button is pressed and held, preventing overdrive damage to the motor and brake caliper. EFB release tool also can prevent damage caused by incorrect power supply polarity connection. It will perform a self-test when power on, the green indicator will on when power is normal, providing clear status at a glance.
Easy Operation1. Connect the clamps to a spare 12V battery, power indicator will on; 2. Connect EPB terminals or connector of EPB tool to vehicle's external EPB drive port;

Brake caliper: Press the I switch and release it immediately when hear the motor stop running;

Release caliper: Press the II switch and release it immediately when hear the motor idling.
NOTE: If motor's response during operation does not match the description, the motor's forward and reverse direction may be reversed.
