Fiber optic strands are Individually color coded
Available in Single-mode and Multi-mode (LC, SC, ST and FC Connectors)
Fiber Optic Pigtails
12 Strand
Our fiber optic pigtails are made of high-quality Single-mode, OS2, 9/125, Multi-mode 62.5 /125 and 50/125 fiber optic cable with LC/UPC, LC/, SC/UPC, SC/, ST/UPC connectors. Ideal for fusion splicing, they are quality tested to meet or exceed industry standards while adhering to only the most stringent performance specifications.
PVC flame-retardant fiber optic cable with tight-buffered coating on each optical fiber
Optical testing insertion loss and return loss
Individually colored to easily match color-coded fiber cable that will be spliced
Support both fusion and mechanical splicing for fiber cabling system
Connector Type SC
Fiber Type Multi Mode
Polish Type UPC
Fiber Count 12
Wavelength 850/1300 nm
Insertion Loss 0.3 dB
Return Loss 20 dB
Minimum Bend Radius 10 mm
Cable Diameter 0.9 mm
Pigtail Color 12-Color
Attenuation at 850nm 3.0 dB/km
Attenuation at 1300nm 1.0 dB/km
Reliable Transmission
The pigtail combines zirconia ferrules and rugged composite hardware to provide the optical performance, durability, and repeatability necessary for today's network applications.
SC Connector
SC fiber connector was the first connector chosen for the TIA-568 standard and is a snap-in connector that latches with a simple push-pull motion. "SC" stands for "Square Connector" due to the "square-shaped" connector body. It adopts a 2.5 mm ferrule, which is twice the size of the previous LC connector. SC fiber optic connector is ideally suited for datacoms and telecom applications including point to point and passive optical networking. Due to its excellent performance, fiber optic SC connector remains the second most common connector for polarization maintaining applications.
Mutimode Fiber
OM1 Multimode fiber is mostly used in communication over short distances, for example, inside a building or for the campus. These Multimode fiber optic pigtails have a core of 62.5 microns that enables multiple light modes to be propagated.
UPC Fiber Connector
UPC is the acronym for Ultra Physical Contact. It is an improvement of the PC fiber connector with a better surface finish after an extended polishing and the return loss is better than PC structure, nearly -50dB or higher. Though it has a relatively lower back reflection in comparison with the PC connector, it is not robust enough. Note that repeated connections and disconnections will bring about the degradation of the surface and ultimate performance.
Includes 12 Fiber Optic Fusion Splice Sleeves 60mm Long
Fiber Optic Fusion Splice Sleeves enable to secure one or twelve fibers in one sleeve. Excellent climatic and thermal properties make it ideal for use in closed as well as open spaces. The sleeves we produce offer full protections the fiber optic splices. They do not cause additional insert losses, and they offer protection against mechanical damage, pollution and weather conditions. These protector sleeves provide a way to support and protect a fiber optic fusion splice. As the sleeve is somewhat rigid it does help provide some protection to the splice area.
The protector sleeves themselves are easy to install which means the potential for damage to the splice is minimal. The splice sleeves are heat shrinkable. Once the fusion splicing has taken place and alignment is correct, heat is applied and the sleeve shrinks to provide protection to the splice.
