Effortless Installation: Comes with a heavy-duty 50ft direct-burial cable for flexible installation, no earth grounding is required. Connect the exit wand sensor directly to the control board of your gate opener, and the probe and cable can be buried underground. For best performance, install the wand at least 25ft away from the gate, 1" deep underground and 2 ft away from the edge of the driveway. Make sure that the calibration is carried out for 60 seconds when there are no metal objects nearby
