It doesn't actually connect like headphones. Your phone actually docks behind the flap in the front. There are two lenes which helps you to focus on the display at close range. Your phone itself produces the stereoscopic image on its display. The left and right images are side by side like an old stereoscope. Essentially, this is a head mounted stereoscope which uses your phone as a stereoscope card. The headset is mostly just padding and lenses. It won't work with a laptop or tablet, only a smartphone within a certain size.
