The LevelOne SFP-4340 is a powerful, cost-effective SFP transceiver. It offers a bi-directional data transfer rate of up to 1.25 Gbps at distances of up to 20 km on a single mode fibre core. This bi-directional SFP transceiver allows data transfer in both directions through a single fiber optic by using separate wavelengths for transmitting and receiving that move interference-free in both directions. The SFP-4340 sends with a wavelength of 1550 nm and receives with a wavelength of 1310 nm. In conjunction with the LevelOne SFP-4330 transceiver that sends and receives with the opposite wavelengths (1310nm TX and 1550nm RX), you get Gigabit fast bi-directional data communication with a single fiber. This hot-swapping-enabled SFP transceiver offers the latest industry standard in full duplex Ethernet connectivity and withstands a wide operating temperature range.
