Our video cable is 26.2ft, and the total length from the back up camera to the monitor is 31.2ft. If use the ordinary cable, the signal will be attenuated, it may produce streaks, flicker, etc. The double-shielded wire will effectively avoid this problem. In addition, streaks/ black screens/ flickering are also related to the power supply of the reversing light. Some models of vehicle may need to purchase a 12V DC power adapter filter rectifier to stabilize the current.
