Alogic Elements DisplayPort/HDMI Audio/Video Cable EL2DPHD4K02

The ALOGIC Elements EL2DPHD4K02 is a 2 m DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable that connects a DisplayPort computer to an HDMI monitor or TV, supporting resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz. It suits home and office setups that need a direct video connection.

Recommended For

• Desktop-PC users connecting a DisplayPort graphics output to an HDMI monitor for a home-office setup, including a 4K display at up to 60Hz.
• People setting up a workstation or presentation space where a DisplayPort computer needs to connect directly to an HDMI monitor or projector, with 2m of cable reach.
• PC users whose DisplayPort output needs active conversion to HDMI; ALOGIC says the cable works with DisplayPort sources, including those without DP++ support.
• Users connecting a DisplayPort gaming PC to a compatible HDMI display for high-refresh 1080p gaming, for which ALOGIC lists support up to 240Hz.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• Connect a desktop PC’s DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor when the monitor lacks DisplayPort; the cable converts the connection for video, and can carry audio when the devices support HDMI audio.
• Connect a DisplayPort-equipped computer to an HDMI TV for viewing video on a larger screen; supported setups can reach 4K at 60 Hz, with audio carried over HDMI.
• Use a DisplayPort computer with an HDMI projector for a presentation or video call; the cable provides the display connection, while the computer and projector determine the available resolution and audio playback.
• Connect a DisplayPort source to a compatible 1080p high-refresh HDMI monitor for smoother desktop use or gaming; refresh rate depends on the computer’s output and the monitor’s supported modes.
