Q: Is this a WiFi camera? Does it include cables and power?
A: No, this is a wired security camera, not a WiFi camera. It requires a BNC CCTV cable and a 12V DC power adapter (sold separately) and must be connected to a compatible DVR to function. It cannot work alone.
Q: Is this camera compatible with my existing DVR?
A: This camera only works with TVI, AHD, or CVI DVRs. It is NOT compatible with 960H or CVBS (analog) systems. Please verify your DVR's supported signal formats. For best results, we recommend using a ZOSI DVR.
Q: Does this camera support color night vision?
A: No. This camera provides color video during the day and automatically switches to black & white infrared night vision in low light. This is standard for IR cameras. If it's stuck in night mode during the day, a simple power cycle (unplug and replug) usually fixes it.
Q: Why is there no picture, flickering, or lines on the screen?
A: 1. Ensure the BNC connector and power cable are tightly secured. 2. Confirm your DVR's signal mode is set to TVI/AHD/CVI. We highly recommend testing all cameras before permanent installation.
Q: Does this camera have audio recording?
A: No, this model does not have audio/microphone functionality. It is designed for video surveillance only.
