The MHS338BT is a durable handheld Marine radio that meets IPX8 submersible standards and is built to float. Water-activated emergency strobe light and flashlight. Drop-in charging cradle and Li-ion rechargeable battery. Automatic Backlight Switching, white for daytime, amber for nighttime. With integrated GPS, NOAA weather alerts, and FM radio, staying connected and informed is straightforward. Full 6 WATT TRANSMIT POWER - Operates at full power to achieve maximum range. High/Low power level selection allows you to increase transmitter power from 1.0W to 2.5W to 6.0W for greater transmission distance.

GPS (Favorite Position mode). Enables you to save your present location as well as manually input other positions. You can store positions in a directory to revisit them as needed. BLUETOOTH WIRELESS - It also features Bluetooth capability, allowing you to use a smartphone app (iOS and Android) to configure the radio and to text message other VHF radios with text message capability. You can also input other information such as DSC directory details.
