SL712-D2 12" 1000W RMS Dual 2-Ohms Hi-Def Shallow Subwoofer

The SL700 Series is a throwback to subwoofers from the 2000s, engineered to handle any genre of music a system is configured for. With a rich heritage tracing back to the DD9000/DD4500 Series of that period, the SL700s combine rigid low mass cones, robust dual layered spiders, highly compressed EROM surrounds, and a high-energy 3 inch voice coil that delivers hard, low, and fast output. While current subwoofer trends have shifted toward air movement and hair dancing, these drivers are built for music-focused performance that remains highly efficient in smaller, daily driver enclosures.

Focusing the bandwidth from 30-300Hz allows for optimized excursion and output in these setups. Our recently developed shallow cast frames, coupled with high energy motors, allow the SL700s to fit into compact enclosures suitable for trucks, under or behind seats, motorcycle bags, off-road side by sides/marine spaces, and highly detailed SQ builds in sealed boxes, as well as into compact enclosures fitting for trucks
