This Slimline SFF-8654 to M.2 NGFF M-Key adapter converts SlimSAS SFF-8654 4i interface to standard M.2 M-Key slot, letting you install PCIe x4 NVMe SSDs on enterprise servers, workstations, NAS and storage arrays equipped with SFF-8654 ports.
It features broad hardware compatibility: fully matched with mainstream server brands including Supermicro, Gigabyte, ASUS, Tyan; compatible with LSI 9300/9305, Broadcom MegaRAID series HBA storage controllers. It supports all mainstream M-Key NVMe SSD brands such as Samsung 980/990 Pro, Western Digital SN850/SN770, Crucial P3/P5 Plus, Kingston KC3000, SK Hynix Platinum P41.
Supporting PCIe 3.0 and PCIe 4.0 x4 full bandwidth, the adapter delivers unthrottled NVMe transmission speed without latency reduction. It only supports M-Key PCIe NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 sizes, incompatible with SATA B-key/B+M-key SSDs.
