This external cross-standard SAS conversion cable is built to solve port mismatch issues during server storage renovation, featuring a SFF-8644 Mini SAS HD male connector on one end and a 36Pin SFF-8087 Mini SAS male connector on the other. It connects new-generation RAID/HBA cards with SFF-8644 ports to older storage enclosures, backplanes and hard drives using SFF-8087 interfaces.
Fully compliant with SAS 3.0 protocol, the cable delivers up to 12Gbps per lane stable transmission, perfectly matching enterprise SAS hard drives and high-speed SATA SSD arrays. Each connector comes with an integrated locking buckle to hold the cable tightly plugged, avoiding sudden disk disconnection or unrecognition caused by server vibration.
With a total length of 1 meter (3.3 feet), the cable provides flexible external wiring between rack servers and multi-bay storage chassis without excessive slack or tight tension.
