This passive MCIO breakout cable follows official Mini Cool Edge IO SFF-TA-1016 specification, featuring one straight 74Pin x8 male connector branching to two straight 38Pin x4 male connectors, which splits one x8 PCIe host link into two separate x4 channels for server RAID/HBA controllers and multi-NVMe backplanes.
Constructed with low-loss 30AWG twinax differential pairs and individual shielding for each signal line, the cable eliminates crosstalk and electromagnetic interference inside dense server enclosures, sustaining full PCIe 5.0 bandwidth without throttling during large database access, high-speed NVMe storage transmission and HPC computing workloads. The 80-centimeter length solves long-distance internal wiring demands, optimizes chassis airflow and reduces thermal throttling of storage hardware.
Each connector comes with integrated retention latch and easy-grip pull tab for quick plug-and-unplug. Thick gold-plated contact pins cut electrical resistance and avoid loose connection caused by rack vibration. It only transmits native PCIe NVMe signals without extra protocol conversion.
Driver-free plug-and-play design works seamlessly with Windows Server, Linux and all mainstream MCIO-equipped enterprise storage hardware.
