This 50-centimeter OCuLink breakout cable converts one PCIe 4.0 SFF-8611 8X host port on motherboards, RAID or HBA storage controllers into two standalone SFF-8639 U.2/U.3 interfaces, supporting simultaneous operation of two 2.5-inch NVMe SSDs via PCIe lane bifurcation (BIOS bifurcation function required).
Two dedicated 15Pin SATA power branches are integrated on each U.2 output, eliminating the need for extra separate power cords and simplifying messy internal chassis wiring layout. Adopting multi-layer braided differential shielding, the cable effectively blocks electromagnetic crosstalk generated by CPU, GPU and other hardware, maintaining complete signal integrity under continuous heavy read-write workloads for 4K/8K video editing, virtualization and database servers.
All terminals feature thick corrosion-resistant gold-plated contacts and built-in safety locking latches to avoid accidental unplugging caused by chassis vibration. The short 1.6ft cord removes redundant cable slack, improves internal airflow and fits tight compact PC cases and mini rack servers perfectly.
Compatible with all mainstream Intel & AMD motherboards, OCuLink storage expansion cards and standard SFF-8639 U.2/U.3 NVMe SSD modules. It is an essential storage upgrade accessory for PC DIY builders, media production workstations, small enterprise storage servers and data center hardware maintenance projects.
