IP67 Rated: The Klipsch Detroit portable Bluetooth speaker is IP67 rated, making it water and dust proof. The IP67 rating means the speaker is totally protected against dust and is protected against the effects of temporary immersion in water up to 1 meter (3.3') for 30 minutes. It features a rugged, rubberized exterior with metal grille.
Stereo Sound: The Klipsch Detroit portable Bluetooth speaker houses two 1.0" dome tweeters and two 3.0" cone woofers powered by a built-in 30 watt amplifier, plus four 3.0" passive radiators to produce big stereo sound from a compact speaker. The Klipsch Detroit can be used by itself, paired with another Detroit speaker for stereo sound, or paired with multiple Detroit speakers for even bigger sound.
- Stereo Mode: Via Bluetooth, you can wirelessly connect two Klipsch Detroit speakers together to create a stereo soundstage. One Detroit speaker will act as the Left channel, while the other speaker will act as the right channel. Both Detroit speakers will share volume control with one another.
- Broadcast Mode: Via Bluetooth, you can wirelessly connect up to ten Klipsch Detroit speaker together to create a seamless, multi-speaker listening experience. Each Detroit speaker will play the same audio source. However, you can have the speakers set to different volume levels.
Bluetooth 5.3: The Klipsch Detroit portable speaker features built-in Bluetooth 5.3 with support for wireless audio streaming (A2DP), as well as hands-free communication (HFP). You can pair multiple devices (up to 8) to the speaker, but only one device can be connected for playback or phone use at a time. The portable Bluetooth speaker has a wireless range up to 40'.
- Wireless Audio Streaming: Support for wireless audio streaming gives you to ability to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, laptop, and desktop computer to the Bluetooth portable speaker.
