A few reasons can cause poor radio reception. The following factors play a role
Distance/Stationary obstacles: The further you are from the radio station's broadcast tower, the weaker the signal will be. Additionally, stationary obstacles like mountains, buildings, or structures can block or weaken the radio signal.
Multipath interference: Radio signals can be affected by physical obstacles such as hills, buildings, and trees.
Environmental factors: Weather conditions also affect FM radio reception by weakening the signal or causing interference.
