This digitally tuned portable radio provides useful voice prompts (available in English or Spanish), high-contrast large yellow controls, and preset keys with raised symbols to assist identification for users with visual impairments. It delivers excellent reception and stereo audio performance, with an auto scan function for stations, 10 station presets (5 AM, 5 FM), and a large, easy-to-read backlit LCD display. The alarm timer can be set to use a buzzer or the radio, and it features a Humane Wake System (HWS) and an adjustable sleep timer. For outstanding sound, it is fitted with dual 2.5" full-range speakers and includes a stereo/mono switch.

Battery power status is indicated. It contains a DC input, aux-in and stereo headphone output, an FM telescopic antenna, a built-in 200 mm ferrite AM antenna bar, and a switching AC adapter (100-240V, 50/60Hz)
