Why is there hair on my new clippers?
LQT does not send out any "used" hair clippers. A likely source of the hair-like fibers are shavings from the blade guard that is attached to the clipper blades for protection.
When should I oil my blades?
The blades on your new clipper should be oiled every few haircuts. For best results, place three drops on front of each blade and one drop on each side of the blade. Use only LQT oil (a small bottle is included in this kit)
Can human clippers/trimmers be used on animals and vice versa?
LQT Professional products can be used on animal hair. However, the blades are designed to cut human hair. The best option is to consider one of our professional animal clippers designed specifically for animals.
Are the clipper and trimmer waterproof?
No, the clipper and trimmer are not waterproof. However, the blades are detachable and can be rinsed. Make sure the blades have been dried completely before re-attaching to the clipper.
My blades are stuck what do I do?
For best results, place three drops on front of each blade and one drop on each side of the blade. You can also adjust the taper lever up and down a few times to get the blades moving.
