Upgraded to produce consistently sharper imagery, this compact lens features a fast T1.9 maximum aperture, Cooke /i metadata technology, and consistency across the Vespid2 series. Each Vespid2 prime incorporates an aspherical element and retains the excellent aberration control, close-focus performance, and minimal distortion and focus breathing of the original Vespid lens series. Each lens in the color-matched Vespid2 series features several consistent elements that enable quick lens changes and adjustments. These include a common 80mm front outside diameter compatible with a variety of pro matte boxes, cine-style 0.8 MOD focus and aperture gears, and uniform lengths and weights. The expanded 300° focus barrel rotation enables precise focus pulls, and the new coating on the lens housing reduces reflections.
