- Disconnect the washer from the power supply to ensure safety.
- Use a screwdriver to remove the screws securing the top panel or control panel, depending on your washer model. Gently lift the panel to access the lid lock switch.
- Locate the existing lid lock switch and disconnect the wiring harness.
- Use needle nose pliers or a screwdriver to remove the screws or clips holding the old switch in place. Carefully take out the old lid lock switch.
