The RS 153 is a member of EAWs dynamic RS Series of 2-way self-powered loudspeakers.
Offering EAW signature performance in a portable wooden enclosure, each RS series loudspeaker is built around the latest breed of touring-grade high-frequency (HF) and low-frequency (LF) transducers. The series intelligent features include EAW Focusing which delivers unrivaled musical clarity as well as tonal accuracy. Pattern control is further enhanced by the unique, constant directivity HF horn; a design theory first proven in EAWs legendary MK Series a series born from the audio performance needs of stadiums worldwide.
The wooden enclosure is lightweight and durable. Its been meticulously engineered to eliminate resonance, and houses onboard bi-amplified electronics (1500 W) featuring signature EAW DSP including DynO and Focusing (as mentioned above). Additionally, EAWs proprietary Resolution software platform is an easy-to-use yet powerful simulation software that enables accurate prediction of one or multiple RS Series enclosures performance within a venue or performance space.
