Why are the buttons unresponsive?
1. When the alarm clock sounds, all buttons will be disabled for 10 seconds after the alarm is turned off.
2. Other buttons will also be disabled during the "Weather HAZARD ON "function (you must first tap to exit).
Will I lose settings if batteries die?
Yes. Be sure to replace the battery while charging with the cable connected.
Why am I not getting alerts?
1.Confirm county code is set. 2.Ensure "ALERT ON" is enabled.
Why haven't I received alerts for certain weather events?
Some Emergency Weather Alerts are disabled by default. Please enable the corresponding Event Codes according to your needs.
How can I getting the S.A.M.E. County Code?
1. Call the NWS Toll-Free Number provides S.A.M.E. County Codes at: 1-888-NWS-S.A.M.E. ; -- Automated instructions will guide you to the S.A.M.E. County Code(s) you need.
2. Visit National Weather Service website at www.weather.gov/nwr/counties.
