Featuring a 1/2-inch gold-sputtered cardioid condenser capsule with very low noise and a full frequency response, the M5 is equally at home on a range of acoustic instruments, choirs, or anywhere you would employ a small-diaphragm ('pencil') condenser microphone, either individually or in a stereo array.
