This Sil3114 PCItoSATA RAID controller expansion card adopts classic Silicon Image Sil3114 controller chip, adding four independent SATAI ports for computers with traditional PCI slots, solving insufficient onboard SATA interfaces on older desktop motherboards.
It supports multiple RAID modes including RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, RAID0+1 and JBOD. Users can build highspeed striped array, mirror backup array or simple disk concatenation according to actual needs. Each SATA channel works independently and supports largecapacity hard drives with 48bit LBA addressing.
Conforms to PCI 2.3 specification, 32bit 33/66MHz PCI bus interface. Install the card into the motherboard PCI slot, connect SATA hard disks, install matching driver, then you can identify and manage storage devices. It is well compatible with older Windows systems and mainstream Linux distributions.
Equipped with standard fullheight metal mounting bracket for chassis installation. Suitable for retro computer rebuild, smallcapacity data storage, home file backup system. Please note this is PCI interface, not PCIE, maximum transfer rate is 1.5Gbps. Confirm your motherboard has available PCI slot before purchase.
