How easy is it to set up the CH ASUST|AS5402T R NAS?

Very easy, This is my first NAS that I have owned and the setup was no problem. I do work with computers alot so that may play a factor in my difficulty assessment.

Is there enough space to plug-in M2 NVMe with heatsinks? Or maybe is has its own heatsink cover?

Has a fan, but M2 NVMes need to have heatsinks if necessary, because it does not provide heatsink covers. There is enough space to accommodate heatsink on the M2 board

Is the CH ASUST|AS5402T R a good choice for home network storage?

I just bought this NAS to store a large amount of computer games on it so they can be deployed locally to my computer with faster network speeds. So far I would recommend this nas for home network storage. It integrates in with windows file explorer easily so you can access all of your files without any hassle.
