What is the difference between L4 and L4 Pro?
Similarities: Both can charge 1.2V and 1.5V AA/AAA batteries and inherit the inherent advantages of XTAR chargers.
Differences: L4 Pro has a screen and a repair function, allowing deep recovery of over-discharged batteries
If I put in non-rechargeable batteries (e.g., alkaline), what will happen?
L4 Pro will auto-detect the battery type and intelligently select the optimal charging method. It will show “Err” on the screen for the non-rechargeable or other mismatched rechargeable batteries
Can it charge mixed aa/aaa batteries at once? Can I charge only 2 batteries instead of 4 at a time?
Yes, L4 Pro charger can charge mixed AA and AAA batteries simultaneously. The charger has 4 independent slots that allow charging of 1-4 pieces of 1.2V Ni-MH Ni-CD or 1.5V Li-Ion AA AAA rechargeable batteries freely
Does it have overcharge protection? Does it automatically turn off once charging completes?
Yes,it has overcharge protection. The charger adopts 0V activation and MCU control technology with over-charged, over-current, over-voltage, temperature control, and short-circuit protection.
What is the "Refresh Mode" Function?
1) If a Ni-MH battery’s voltage drops too low (e.g., below 0.9V), standard chargers may reject it as "dead."Refresh Mode applies a low-current pulse charge to safely revive such batteries.2. Eliminate memory effect in Ni-MH batteries
