: When a NiMH/NiCd battery is overdischarged to 0V, the activation function can be selected to repair the battery. The activation function works by cycling the battery through a charge-discharge-charge cycle, usually using a very low rate to charge the battery to full capacity.
Upgradeable Firmware
The upgrade steps for the intelligent charger
R8 are as follows:
1) Connect the PC to the R8 using a USB data cable.
2) Launch the firmware update program and follow the software instructions to update the firmware of the R8.
