The SPD is built to handle surge currents up to 250, 000 Amps (250kA). Designed using Metal Oxide Varistors (MOV), Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) Diodes and Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) technology. With reaction speeds in the trillionth of a second and capable of surviving thousands of repetitive surges when we say this device is built tough that is an understatement. By using Military and Commercial grade components this SPD is designed to protect against every type of transient surge possible including EMP all phases, CME (coronal mass ejection), Solar Flare, Lightning and more.
