First Use & Charging Notice 1. To protect battery health, some units may ship in 0V protection mode. Use a 14.6V LiFePO activation charger to wake it up before charging (e. g., 14.6V 8A charger with 0V function). 2. Avoid using 12V chargers, standard lead-acid chargers, or automotive chargers. Chargers with repair, pulse, or desulfation modes designed for lead-acid batteries may interfere with the LiFePO BMS and trigger early protection shutdown.
3. Before connecting batteries in series, ensure each battery is fully charged and the voltage difference does not exceed 0.2V (fully charged 14V). 4. To maintain battery health, charge at least once every 23 months if not in use. 5. When connecting multiple batteries, use the same model and age; for best balance, fully charge each battery individually before series connection. Using a LiFePO-compatible charger helps extend battery life and ensures reliable, safe performance.
