HP Smart Tank 5101 All-In-One Wireless Thermal Inkjet Color Printer

The HP Smart Tank 5101 is a thermal inkjet printer featuring print, scan, and copy functions in a compact design. It has a 100-sheet paper tray that supports up to 8.5 x 14" legal-size paper. Manual duplex (double-sided) printing is supported after easily assigning the appropriate settings. The Smart Tank also allows borderless printing on up to 8.5 x 11" letter-size paper.

The black print resolution is up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, and the color print resolution is up to 4800 x 1200 dpi optimized. The color resolution reaches the maximum capability only when you're connected to a computer, not when printing over Wi-Fi. The average print speed is 12 pages per minute for black prints and 5ppm for color prints.

Copying and scanning is done via the single-sheet flatbed, which supports up to 8.5 x 11.7" paper, so it will accept standard letter-size sheets. The scan resolution is up tp 1200 dpi, and the copy resolution is up to 600 dpi.

The Smart Tank 5101 offers a USB interface for direct-to-computer connectivity, and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for a wireless workflow. The Wi-Fi interface enables you to send print commands from your smartphone or tablet via the HP Smart app (iOS/Android) or over AirPrint, Mopria, and Wi-Fi Direct mobile print services.
