Do I get the remote and stand with TV?

I did with mine.  It did not come in like-new condition.  But NewEgg worked with me till I was satisfied.  All-in-all, I've really enjoyed my TV.

is this refurbished through the manufacturer or the seller?

I'm not sure. The tv arrived exactly as a new tv would. I have bought 4 or 5 others just like it over the years for my business and have never had a problem.  Knock on wood!

Is there a way to get an extended warrenty for this TV?

No. I wanted to buy this tv too but it only comes with a 90 day parts /labor. From the main screen or the 'Shop All Stores', at the bottom you'll see a extended service plans. I typed in this tv and selected refurbished and nothing came up. Changed it to NEW and two extended warranty's were offered. Too bad.
