My Atyme  400AM7HD TV has not shown any tendency to over heat. It is mounted so that the upper edge is within 3 inches of the ceiling. It is fixed to the top of a cabinet and is not attached to the wall. I turned it on earlier and checked the temperature at the rear vents near the top of the TV then and more than an hour later. The temperature rose from 78 to 90 degrees during that time. The room is at 75 degrees but, of course, warmer near the ceiling. By contrast, a 46-inch Sony TV is mounted lower on the front of an adjacent cabinet. The temp there is 86 degrees but I have a 4 inch computer fan ventilating the area behind that one and it is mounted about 30 inches off the floor. I guess you could say I can't tell much difference in these two TVs temperature wise. The Sony is several years old, by the way.

One thing I'd like to add - Before I bought the Atyme, I emailed and called the Atyme reps in Kalifornia. The fellow replied to my email AND returned my call. I was asking about the remote control and the scheme it used because I didn't want the Sony remote to accidentally control the Atyme and vice versa. The rep said that wouldn't happen and he was correct. I was pleasantly surprised at the response I received from Atyme. A bit old school which I very much appreciated.

HOWEVER, some brands use the same code/scheme and they will interact. So, before you add a second TV in a room, it would be a good idea to check that out.

What's the minimum table width this will fit on?

Need a minimum 28 1/2 Wide by 12" deep.   Total width TV approx. 38"  Feet 28 1/2". for 23" TV Stand I used: Rubbermaid / 12 in. x 36 in. White Laminated Wood Shelf  $7.48 /each
Homedepot. Bought 2: 1) TV 2) computer monitor. Great Units.  Be very careful of screen not to damage with pressure on front when attaching Feet & Cords.

does this have a tuner?

Yes, it has a normal tuner that seems to be fairly sensitive compared to some other TVs I have used. The tuner will tune the ATSC channels that are currently used by TV stations for over-the-air broadcasts. All you have to do is connect an antenna, go to the MENU, then CHANNEL and tell it to scan for stations.

It looks like it has a VGA connector, but the specs don't say anything about it.  Does it really have a VGA input?

Yes it does.  I have a Firestick in one of the the HDMI ports and my computer is attached to the VGA connector.  This way, I use it as a second monitor if I want to and I also use it as a regular TV when I don't need the second monitor.

Has anyone bought this is it worth it?

Received and installed. Nice standard TV, no dead pixels, and good clear picture. I was worried about motion blur or pixelation on sports and that does not seem to be an issue. I watched  a good 15-20 minutes of NBA over the air broadcast in 1080, and nothing noticeable. I used the tuner on my cable feed and it tuned all the expected channels and was able to label them with the feed coming from the provider. My other TV failed to do this on most channels, so this was nice. The sound is okay, slightly better than the Phillips I have. I will test the HDMI inputs with a DVD and Chromecast this evening. For the price, I would say it is worth it compared to anything else out there at this point (Jan 2018). I will most likely be purchasing another one.
