The Redragon M913 Impact Elite is a right-handed wireless/wired gaming mouse with 16 programmable buttons, including 12 side buttons, making it a strong fit for MMO players who want many customizable controls and adjustable sensitivity up to 16,000 DPI.
Recommended For
- MMO players who want to map hotbar abilities to a 12-button thumb grid; a Tom’s Hardware reviewer used the side buttons for Final Fantasy XIV skills without taking their hand off the mouse.
- RPG and other ability-heavy game players who want to assign macros or frequent actions to mouse buttons; the M913’s software supports button customization and macro setup.
- Desktop gamers who want to play wirelessly but keep a wired USB-C option available for charging or continued use; the M913 supports 2.4GHz wireless and wired modes.
- Right-handed users with medium-to-large hands who prefer a palm or claw grip and want a broad mouse with thumb and finger rests; RTINGS identifies those hand and grip sizes as a better fit for its shape.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- In an MMO with a crowded action bar, map frequently used skills to the side buttons so you can trigger abilities with your thumb while keeping your left hand on movement keys.
- In a strategy game with awkward or numerous command shortcuts, assign common orders to the side buttons to issue them more directly during play.
- When playing RPGs with many repeated actions, customize the extra buttons for commonly used commands so fewer actions require reaching across the keyboard.
- For a gaming setup where you prefer a clear desk, use the mouse wirelessly; connect its cable when you want a wired connection or need to charge while playing.
