1) This 4K HDMI to Displayport Converter Adapter is not bi-directional. It's HDMI-in to DP-out cable, the video source is HDMI and the output is Displayport. It can not work the other way.
2) To get 4KX2K/30HZ out at your display, the HDMI sources must be 4KX2K. Otherwise, it can only support up to 1080P out.
