Video-Only No Power Delivery: This DisplayPort Alt Mode video cable carries video onlyno USB data and no USB-C Power Delivery. DisplayPort sources cannot power USB-C portable monitors AR glasses or VR headsets. Works with USB-C displays that accept DP Alt Mode and have their own power input (second USB-C power port or external power). Not recommended for single-port one-cable portable monitors that rely on source power.
