Only 1 USB port, how do you power it with USB ("most stable) AND convert to a USB drive? Can it go via USB cable directly to PC

The description is poorly worded. There is a separate round DC 5v input jack and they provide a USB to barrel cable. The USB is a host port for a flash drive only: no PC interface.
