Question 1

Does the processor come with a stock fan? It does not say either way in the specifications.

Accepted Answer

My memory is a bit foggy as I bought this for a system that I built for a client and it's not available for reference now but I'm fairly certain it does. I can't recall ever having bought an AMD processor and NOT gotten a stock heatsink/fan combo in the box with the processor. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Question 2

I'm looking at the spec and it says nothing about a cooling device does it come with one or not?

Accepted Answer

Yes it does.
But it's little and I read noisy as well.
Just bite the bullet and get an aftermarket heat sink.
I think i have an Evo 212 or something. It's been a while.
Just make sure it's compatible

Question 3

Does this CPU come with a FAN/Heatsink?

Accepted Answer

The AMD FX-6350 does come with a Fan and heat sink. However, I chose to upgrade the fan and heat sink in an attemp to keep the CPU cooler. The Upgraded heat sink and fan was larger then I thought it would be. I have to remove a fan from the side of my case to make it fit.

Cooling the CPU is all about ait flow.

THere is my input...good luck

Question 4

does this include a cpu cooler fan from AMD?

Accepted Answer

yes and it is a lovely copper one at that. The fan does show itself while playing Dark Souls2 but all the while it really has not given me a problem at all. And yes, I do use the virtual pc for xp applications and it works. Also, I use Virtualbox too. But anyway yes, it does have the cpu cooler fan (it is inclusive).

Question 5

okay so i wanna get this processor will it fit in this motherboard?

Accepted Answer

Question 6

does this come with cooler?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It comes with a stock AMD cooler. There is a thermal pad on the fan-heatsink, so no additional thermal paste needed

Question 7

As long as I don't overclock and have plenty of fans, would the stock heatsink be okay enough to stick with or would I HAVE to get a after market cooler?

Accepted Answer

Give it a try, however be prepared that default stock heatsink can generate a lot of noise, when CPU will get warmer.
I do not take chances and always invest extra $30-40 to buy better heatsink such as Coolermaster of Zalman. Make your homework which one will suit better your needs.

Question 8

Is this compatible with the MSI H110M Gaming LGA 1151 Intel H110 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard?

Accepted Answer

No it will not. You need an intel CPU.

CPU

Question 9

does this processor come with a heat sink and fan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is the retail version which comes with heatsink and fan, although they are not very good. I use a CM Seidon 240 and have overclocked the chip to 4.8GHz. With all 6 cores at 100% with Seidon cooler temps never get above 42C.

Question 10

"Will this work in a hp pavilion 500-054 desktop it currently has a 65w amd a8 3.2GHz quad core processor"?

Accepted Answer

Nope. That A8 you spoke of is an FM2 socket, this is a AM3+. Even still, the FX-6350 isn't that much more powerful, so it wouldn't benefit you much even if it were possible.
