The Edifier QR65 is a pair of 70W RMS active desktop monitor speakers with Bluetooth 5.3, LDAC hi-res wireless audio, USB and RCA inputs, and built-in USB fast charging. It suits people who want capable computer or desk audio alongside device charging and customizable lighting.
Recommended For
- Desktop gamers who want stereo game audio for footsteps and effects, plus speakers they can also use for music and movies.
- Desk users who want to charge a laptop or phone from the speaker system and reduce the number of separate chargers on their workspace.
- People using a desk or small room for both computer audio and casual music listening, with the flexibility to connect by USB, RCA, or Bluetooth.
- Listeners who want a distinctive illuminated desk setup and are comfortable using a phone app to adjust the lights or EQ.
- Desktop listeners who may later add a subwoofer for stronger low-frequency output rather than replacing the whole speaker setup.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- For PC gaming at a desk, connect the QR65 by USB and use the stereo pair for game audio; a reviewer reported hearing positional and background sound details clearly during gameplay.
- For everyday desk listening, connect a computer by USB and stream music from a phone over Bluetooth; the multiple inputs make it practical to use the same speakers for both sources.
- For a compact home-office desk, use the built-in USB charging ports to power compatible devices alongside the speakers, reducing the need for separate chargers within reach.
- For music or games that need more low-end, connect an optional powered subwoofer to the Sub Out; this lets users add bass without replacing the desktop speakers.
- For a desk setup where appearance matters, adjust the speaker lighting to suit the room or workspace; the lights are customizable through Edifier’s mobile app.
