Lenovo 45N1153 Lenovo 57++ (9 Cell)Battery For Thinkpad T440P L440 L540-45N1153

The Lenovo 45N1153 is a 9-cell replacement battery for ThinkPad T440p, L440, and L540 laptops, suited to owners of those models looking to replace their battery.

Recommended For

• ThinkPad T440p, L440, or L540 owners who need a compatible replacement battery; Lenovo lists these models in its battery compatibility reference.
• T440p users who work away from outlets and want the larger-capacity 9-cell option: Lenovo lists a 99.9Wh 9-cell battery, compared with 56Wh for the 6-cell option.
• Owners keeping an older T440p in service for coursework, office work, or other unplugged tasks who prefer extending its use over replacing the laptop; community reports describe the 9-cell battery as a way to improve runtime, though results vary.
• T440p users who can accept extra carry weight in exchange for more battery capacity; Lenovo’s listed T440p configurations weigh more with the 9-cell battery than with the 6-cell.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For web browsing, email, and documents away from an outlet, the 9-cell battery can extend a T440p’s unplugged work session; one review measured about 10 hours of Wi-Fi use with its 100-Wh battery, but actual runtime depends on the laptop’s configuration and battery condition.
• For classes, library sessions, or light coding, the larger battery can reduce the need to find an outlet between work periods. T440p owners report around 5–6 hours in some configurations, while heavier setups or worn batteries can last much less.
• For watching downloaded videos during a trip, a T440p review measured about 8.5 hours of playback with a 100-Wh battery under its test settings; screen brightness, battery age, and laptop configuration can change the result.
• When replacing a failing battery in a compatible T440p, L440, or L540, this 9-cell style is intended to restore portable use and provide more reserve than a smaller battery. Check the laptop model and battery part number before buying, since runtime also depends on the replacement battery’s actual health.
• For sustained CPU-heavy work, such as rendering or intensive audio projects, the battery provides some unplugged flexibility but may drain quickly; use AC power for longer workloads when available. A T440p review measured about two hours in a maximum-brightness, high-performance load test.
