Will it have the click like a mechanical keyboard?

Yes, it has the same click - But the keys seem to have a longer travel or are taller.  It does not feel like the Dell Keyboard I normally use.  Took it out of the box.  Tried it and then went  back to what I like the feel of.

Is this compatible with MAC?

As long as you have a USB port on your computer it will work.

Whats the bottom like? Rubber or just plastic. I wanted to know if i should get a slip mat or not.

The feet have rubber pads but mine fell off fast I would get a slip mat

can you change the backlight colors?

You unfortunately cannot....they are static LEDs the are in a  "rainbow" type lighting scheme across the length of the keyboard.
