Denon DCM-280 5-Disc Carousel CD Player

The DCM-280 5-Disc CD Auto Changer from Denon is a 5-disc carousel CD changer that is also equipped with an MP3 decoder. This allows for playback of not only regular audio CDs, but also MP3 encoded CD-R/RW discs. Using the MP3 format, a single CD-R/RW disc can contain up to 10 times more tracks than an ordinary audio CD and is ideal for use in long-play applications such as background music. An advanced multilevel noise shaping digital to analog converter and an 8x over-sampling digital filter help the DCM-280 provide a clean analog output and reduce frequency irregularities in the audio range to an absolute minimum.

Thirty-two tracks from the five (or fewer) CDs can be programmed for playback, while random playback is available via three modes. A headphone output is provided on the DCM-280 along with an S/PDIF digital output.
