High-Performance ModeThe ESP4B features 4 x PCIe 4.0 SSD slots. When no SSDs are installed in the SSD3 and SSD4 slots, it automatically enters High-Performance Mode. Full-Configuration ModeWhen all four M.2 slots are populated with SSDs, the device switches to Full-Configuration Mode (bandwidth halved). SSD1 to SSD4 all operate at PCIe 4.0 ×2. It maximizes storage expansion capacity and allows four NVMe SSDs to work simultaneously, suitable for mass storage, data backup, media libraries and similar use cases.
OCuLink Expansion PortThe ESP4B comes with one onboard OCuLink port, which expands to four SATA 3.0 ports for connecting HDDs or SATA SSDs (using the included OCuLink-to-4×SATA cable).
USB Type-C PortOne USB Type-C port is fitted on this deivce for high-speed peripheral connections. It follows the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 standard with a maximum transfer speed of 20 Gbps and supports 5V / 3A power output. It can connect portable SSDs, USB flash drives, smartphones and other USB TypeC devices.
Intelligent Power ManagementSupports ASPM Active State Power Management to reduce standby power consumption, known as auto power-saving technology.
