The NXT PRMCIPG245XL is a compatible black ink cartridge for users with a Canon PIXMA MG2420 printer that takes PG-245XL ink.
Recommended For
- Canon PIXMA owners whose printer uses a PG-245XL cartridge and who need black ink for everyday text documents; confirm the exact printer model before ordering.
- Budget-conscious owners who specifically want a non-Canon PG-245XL replacement and are comfortable checking compatibility and troubleshooting if the printer does not recognize it.
- People who mainly print black-and-white forms, drafts, or household and school paperwork and do not need this cartridge to provide color ink.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- When a household needs to print a form, letter, or other text-heavy document, this black cartridge is intended for the MG2420’s everyday document-printing jobs; the result is a paper copy with black text.
- For schoolwork at home, users can print typed assignments or text-based worksheets from a computer; the cartridge supplies the black ink for those pages.
- When a paper document needs to be duplicated, the MG2420 can copy documents, using black ink for black-and-white copies.
- For occasional home reference pages—such as instructions or recipes—the cartridge can handle black-text printouts through the MG2420, which supports document printing.
