If your drive is not recognized by macOS or Windows when using this M.2 Nvme enclosure, please check the following:
1. New SSD formatting required: A brand-new SSD must be initialized and formatted before it can be recognized by the operating system. Use Disk Management on Windows or Disk Utility on macOS to perform this process.
2. File system compatibility: Ensure your drive is formatted with a file system supported by the target operating system:Windows: NTFS or exFAT is recommended / macOS: APFS or HFS+ is recommended Drives with unsupported file systems may not appear in the operating system.
If the drive remains unrecognized after these steps, please contact support for further assistance.
Keep Your Data:
1. When you need to take out the SSD, please perform a safe removal operation on the device before disconnecting it from the device. Do not remove the NVMe M.2 enclosure and SSD forcibly to avoid data loss and hard drive damage.
2. When this SSD enclosure M.2 NVMe is copying data, do not forcibly disconnect the device to avoid file loss and hard drive damage.
